Mercedes-Benz GLE (W166), produced between 2015 and 2018, is essentially the facelift of the third generation M-Class (ML). To unify the brand's nomenclature, the model was renamed to GLE (where "E" indicates that the SUV is analogous to the E-Class). This is an extremely popular, luxurious mid-size premium SUV that offers a great balance between family comfort, off-road capability, and prestige. Unlike the larger GLS, the GLE W166 comes standard with conventional spring suspension, while the pneumatic Airmatic is an option for the smaller engines.
