BMW X3 (generation F25), produced between 2010 and 2017 (with a significant facelift in 2014), is the second generation of the popular compact premium crossover. The model addresses the main shortcomings of its predecessor (E83) – offering a significantly more modern interior, better road handling, and more space in the cabin and trunk.
Main modifications and engines
The model is mainly equipped with the legendary 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, which is extremely fast and reliable, and the drive in most cases is the intelligent all-wheel drive xDrive (there are also rear-wheel drive versions, designated as sDrive).
• Dynamics and handling: It is very direct to drive, with minimal body roll in corners and a sense of lightness.
• ZF 8-Speed Transmission: One of the best automatic transmissions in the industry. Shifts seamlessly and helps with low fuel consumption.
• Practicality: The 550-liter trunk is among the largest in its class, and the rear seat space is fully sufficient for adult passengers.
• iDrive Multimedia: The system is intuitive, fast, and very easy to use on the go compared to competitors from the same years.
