The second generation Porsche Panamera 971> 2016 was presented on June 28, 2016 at a special event in Berlin, Germany. Codenamed 971, it is 35 mm (1.4 inches) longer, 5 mm (0.2 inches) wider and 5 mm (0.2 inches) taller than the first generation Panamera 970, with 30 mm (1.2 inches) longer wheelbase. The interior features a redesigned dashboard layout, with touch-sensitive surfaces that replace the set of buttons of the previous generation. The centrally mounted tachometer also goes back to the 1955 Porsche 356 A. The Porsche Panamera 971> 2016 has a sumptuous interior, loaded with modern technological amenities and expensive leather upholstery.
