Audi A5 8T - A5 Quattro (2007-2017)
The Audi A5 (8T generation), produced from 2007 to 2016 (with a major facelift at the end of 2011), is considered one of the most beautiful cars ever created by the brand. Its designer, Walter de Silva, describes it as his most masterpiece work. In the A5 8T, the suspension is classic (multi-link aluminum), but with one exceptional technological option: • 1BL - Damper Control: This is an electronically adjustable suspension with conventional oil, but with valves in the dampers that change stiffness through the Audi Drive Select system (Comfort, Auto, Dynamic). • Sport Differential: In the Quattro versions with V6 engines, an optional rear sport differential with torque vectoring is offered. It actively redirects power to the outer wheel in a turn, which literally "plants" the front into the corner and eliminates understeer.
