Rear Left Magnetic Shock Absorber for 2016-2021 Audi TT, TT RS and TTS (8S). Arnott's magnetically controlled shock provides the same highly adaptive ride as original equipment. The monotube shock absorber is filled with magnetorheological fluid, which is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil that contains easily magnetized iron particles. The two electromagnetic coils inside the damper instantly change the bonds between the magnetized iron particles, changing the viscosity and stiffness of the suspension when they are turned on. Arnott's new Audi rear magnetic shock absorber connects to the car's ECU without modifications.
